On December 5th, over 150 TEDxWomen events will take place around the world, sharing ideas worth spreading with thousands of delegates. TEDxDistilleryDistrictWomen, is an independently organized TEDx event that will take place at the Arta Gallery, featuring an incredible line-up of women speakers topics from innovations in health and technology, to politics, psychology and the arts.
This is the second time that Toronto has hosted a TEDxWomen event and we’re excited to be involved this year. Noise has supported TEDx in Vancouver in the past and we’re proud to be on board as an official sponsor of the TEDxDistilleryDistrictWomen event here in Toronto. As part of the Noise Toronto team, I’m personally thrilled to support the event further by being part of the core TEDxDistilleryDistrict team to co-lead Communications and Social Media.
The host of the night will be Gwen Elliot, a mediapreneur and the creator and host of broadcast show Start Something Big. The Missing Women Project. Transforming medical diagnostics with technology. Finding answers to your health in your poo. These are just a few of the topics that will be presented at TEDxDistilleryDistrictWomen and we can’t wait to broaden our perspectives.
