What we're looking for

Noise is looking for an Account Director or experienced Senior Account Manager to join our growing team of AMs and PMs servicing our client portfolio in Vancouver.

You will be responsible for the strategic management of your client portfolio, able to take high-level thinking to shape and plan projects to drive maximum value and benefit to both client and Noise.

We are looking for a “can-do” attitude, and someone with a passion for leading teams to provide best-in-class service and value. You will foster team collaboration and bring quality and attention to detail in everything you do.

You will collaborate closely with key strategy leads overseeing deliverables on a variety of projects spanning strategic and brand discovery, digital and traditional advertising, analytics projects and more. You will understand important business drivers and apply them to the management of accounts.

What you'll do

  • Develop strong relationships with key Client personnel
  • Collate & analyze monthly forecast sheets from the account team  to be distributed to the Group Account Director
  • Manage costs on projects and maximize account profitability
  • Develop strong customer-first strategies, continuously sharing knowledge, learnings and improvements with clients and internal teams
  • Develop and improve account plans 
  • Play a prominent role in mentoring and managing the professional development of more junior team members
  • Cultivate positive habits with team members that improve communication and ownership
  • Audit and review client deliverables for consistency and quality measures
  • Collate and contribute strategic insights from market research and discovery
  • Provide senior strategic and business support to the account team
  • Identify and nurture soft-sales opportunities, and articulate these to the relevant stakeholders
  • Provide support client execs at all levels, ensuring the Client perceives the agency as committed to their business and success
  • Conduct quarterly satisfaction reviews with clients and seek opportunities to strengthen our relationships with clients
  • Work with the Account Manager to develop briefs and approach documents that answers the client’s business needs
  • Spot opportunities or concerns and escalate them to the Group Account Director or Business Lead at the appropriate time
  • Monitor and review project execution against the plan and budget for account health and profitability
  • Establish a strong track record of pitching and closing new business opportunities
  • Support and contribute to new business development
  • Approve and review all financial reporting and forecasting
  • Work with the Client Service team to look at opportunities for knowledge sharing, operational improvement and growth opportunities
  • Work closely with Group Account Director and Business Director on financial reporting, account planning and business development.

What you'll need to bring

  • +5 yrs experience working in accounts/client service in a professional marketing, advertising and/or digital agency or business
  • Post-secondary education, preferably in a related field (digital, media, marketing, communications)
  • Knowledge of the digital media landscape (paid, earned and owned) preferable
  • Experience working with and presenting to senior client stakeholders and C-Suite executives
  • Experience within travel and tourism a bonus
  • Proven experience growing and scaling multiple accounts
  • Strong B2B / B2C experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with data-driven marketing preferable
  • Ability to think strategically long-term whilst also delivering on day-to-day responsibilities
