What we're looking for

Noise is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our growing team of AMs and PMs servicing our client portfolio in Vancouver. 

As the main point of contact for clients you will have excellent communication, negotiation, prioritization and delegation skills, applying business acumen and critical thinking to ensure strategic initiatives are delivered.

We are looking for a proactive self-starter who is passionate about delivering value and excellence to our clients through building strong and trusting relationships. You will act as the in-house extension of the client team, advocating for the client needs and goals.

Working across a diverse portfolio of clients and projects, we are seeking proven experience in managing multiple clients, projects, initiatives and changing priorities.

What you'll do

Accounts / Client Relationship

  • Act as the key point of contact for clients and have a strong understanding of their brand and market sector
  • Strategically plan and manage your client portfolio, leveraging resources from the strategy, media and analytics teams when required to add value to the client relationship
  • Receive and respond to client briefs, developing approach plans and Scopes of Work for client approval
  • Communicate project progress and deadlines to clients on a regular, consistent basis
  • Present work to the client throughout the delivery process and articulate rationale and strategy against the goals set-out
  • Ensure quality standards are met and client expectations exceeded on services delivered
  • Continuously engage the client, other stakeholders and the team to ensure we’re delivering the value expected of each engagement
  • Spot opportunities or concerns and escalate them to the Group Account Director or Business Lead at the appropriate time
  • Monitor and review project execution against the plan and budget for account health and profitability
  • Support and contribute to the development of tactical and strategic planning, demonstrating strong marketing analysis skills
  • Pitch and present to new and existing clients
  • Support and contribute to new business development
  • Manage financial reporting and forecasting

What you'll need to bring

  • +3 yrs experience working as an account or project manager in a professional marketing, advertising and/or digital agency or business
  • Post-secondary education, preferably in a related field (digital, media, marketing, communications)
  • Knowledge of the digital media landscape (paid, earned and owned) preferable
  • Experience working with and presenting to senior client stakeholders
  • Experience growing an account
  • Strong B2B / B2C experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with data-driven marketing preferable
  • Ability to think strategically long-term whilst also delivering on day-to-day responsibilities
