Business/Data Analyst

What we're looking for

The BA/Data Analyst will conduct full lifecycle analysis of all marketing reporting and analytics to include requirements, activities and design of dashboards and self-serve analytics outcomes.

What you'll do

  • Lead data-driven marketing campaign reporting and dashboarding for all Noise  clients 
  • Collaborate with multiple teams, serving as the go-between with end-users and developers, to ensure that product information is properly disseminated 
  • Work closely with internal teams to identify customer needs and establish ways upon which customer needs can be met for their maximum benefit and satisfaction. 
  • Gather and understand client needs and requirements for reporting
  • Participate in the system development life cycle 
  • Visualization, maintenance and verification requirements of various projects
  • Draft proposals, requirements and timelines for custom reporting solutions
  • Configure data sources to share data with web analytics and business intelligence tools
  • Develop and interpret reports in web analytics and business intelligence tools
  • Build dashboards across multiple business intelligence platforms 
  • Monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements
  • Articulate data-driven recommendations
  • Create appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary.

What you'll need to bring

  • College degree or MBA preferably in Mathematics/Statistics/Data Science
  • Web analytics certification or other applicable training
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Data Studio, etc.)
  • Experience querying and analyzing data from large databases such as SQL, Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, R.
  • Proficiency with SQL (MySQL, MSSQL Server, PostgreSQL) to query and analyze data 
  • Experience importing analytics and other data via APIs into spreadsheets (via R, Python, AppScript, SuperMetrics)
  • Some experience with R, Python for data collection (from API’s or databases), analysis, visualization and reporting or dashboards
  • Basic JavaScript knowledge

Additional Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team


  • Attend regularly scheduled office meetings and developmental activities
  • Regular 1:1 meetings
  • Formal Training on existing data models

Training Objectives

  • The successful candidate will expand on their existing proficiencies by learning these additional skills, including certification where applicable.
  • Google Cloud proficiency
  • Advanced proficiency using GCP tools including BigQuery, Looker, PubSub, Dataprep, etc.
  • Google Marketing Platform proficiency
  • Develop advanced proficiency on the GMP platform, understanding all opportunities for data capture, processing and activation.
