What we're looking for

The Campaign Manager plays a key role in the development and execution of social media, mobile, display and performance media plans. This includes planning, implementation, management and day to day maintenance of paid media activity, including programmatic and social media buys. Using expert knowledge of digital media and analytics to provide executional insight during the development of media and plans and own the full execution of the campaign from development of final reporting.

What you'll do

Media

  • Executes campaigns across programmatic, search, and social platforms.
  • Ensures campaign budgets are pacing in accordance with the approved media plan
  • Maintains media plans with up-to-date records of the implementation of the plan (blocking charts, budget trackers, etc.) on a daily basis
  • Manages the flow of client media-related issues - creating solutions and resolving problems in a timely, efficient manner
  • Participates in media campaign planning process, including research, benchmarking, etc.
  • Plans strategies to help customers reach goals within their constraints
  • Tracks media campaign performance and provide regular campaign summary reports for review with manager(s)
  • Collaborates with the team to develop plans, reports and presentations to communicate campaign performance
  • Analyzes, interprets, optimizes and presents actionable insights and results to the team on an ongoing basis

SEO

  • Develops and implements SEO strategies for clients that will help them reach their goals within budgetary constraints.
  • Conducts website audits for clients and prospects.
  • Improves overall site structure, page metadata, content, keyword lists, and SEO copywriting for optimization purposes.
  • Incorporates latest search algorithm changes as needed.
  • Develops and implements SEO page experiments to boost organic traffic to low-performing pages and increase conversion rates.
  • Develops and executes link building strategies including negotiating link acquisitions, blog posts and article placements, basic link development, and targeted link requests.
  • Monitors overall SEO successes in terms of indexed page volume, ranking, backlinks, increased traffic and conversions while summarizing findings and recommendations to team and/or clients. Implements recommendations.
  • Implements Google Analytics, Omniture, and/or other web analytics tools.
  • Develops, monitors, and reports on key performance indicators, projections, and performance analysis.
  • Works across multiple teams at Noise in order to track, optimize, and develop SEO strategies, and to provide SEO expertise as required.
  • Stays up-to-date on algorithm changes, SEO practices, SEO software applications, and other relevant areas to ensure the company's SEO techniques match industry standards.

SEM/PPC

  • Develops and implements SEM/PPC strategies for clients that will help them reach their goals within budgetary constraints.
  • Proactively makes strategic campaign recommendations to clients.
  • Sets up, optimizes, and maintains various PPC accounts for client projects, following best practices.
  • Uses leading web tools to research keywords for PPC campaigns.
  • Monitors SEM/PPC initiatives on a regular basis to ensure that the activities undertaken match the budget of the project and will help clients achieve their goals.
  • Manages internal and external resources to ensure that campaigns are executed accurately, effectively, and within budget.
  • Manages client budgets to ensure proper allocation in accordance with campaign contract terms and project goals.
  • Generates and delivers regular reports that summarize performance and offer insights into initiatives undertaken by Noise for client campaigns.
  • Communicates regularly with clients to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Communicates regularly with team members to ensure consistency of services within budgetary constraints.
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends by regularly reading articles from industry leading websites such as SEOmoz, Search Engine Land, Search Engine Watch, ClickZ etc.

SMM/A

  • Develops and implements social media marketing strategies for clients that will help them reach their goals within budgetary constraints.
  • Coordinates brand social media presence.
  • Assists in developing online, social media, SEO, brand, and communication strategies as needed.
  • Coordinates with internal and external content creators to write, edit, and facilitate the production of online marketing and communications materials.
  • Monitors comments and user-generated content, escalating issues and providing feedback as necessary.
  • Sets up, optimizes, and maintains various social media advertising campaigns for client projects, following best practices.
  • Monitors social media advertising campaigns on a regular basis to ensure that the advertising undertaken match the budget of the project and will help clients achieve their goals.
  • Manages internal and external resources to ensure that campaigns are executed accurately, effectively, and within budget.
  • Manages client budgets to ensure proper allocation in accordance with campaign contract terms and project goals.
  • Develops metrics and dashboards, and measures ROI for participation in social media sites and for integrating user generated content info into branded websites.
  • Generates and delivers regular reports that summarize performance and offer insights into initiatives undertaken by Noise for client campaigns.
  • Communicates regularly with clients to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Communicates regularly with team members to ensure consistency of services within budgetary constraints.
  • Works closely other team members to engage in link building and socialization of web content, promotions, and advertising campaigns.
  • Works closely with other team members to identify, track, test, and improve social media initiatives.
  • Researches and implements improved social media tools to leverage social media activities.
  • Develops and leads social media guidelines.

Analytics

  • Develops and implements analytics frameworks for clients that will help Noise measure and improve campaign and project performance.
  • Supports the strategy, design, development, and rollout/implementation of all initiatives from a web analytics perspective by anticipating measurement needs and delivering results to internal teams and clients.
  • Implements effective and thorough tracking for key pages and activities on multiple and relevant websites.
  • Collaborates with team members regarding specific tracking needs or revisions to tracking that already exists by providing thoughtful and specific requirements.
  • Works closely with the internal teams to understand their measurements of success and together, design appropriate KPIs.
  • Performs data mining, search analysis, clickstream analysis, and conversion path testing and monitoring.
  • Reviews and evaluates behavioural and performance metrics.
  • Provides an understanding of tracking possibilities and delivering insightful and meaningful reporting on site behaviors by responding to regularly scheduled and ad-hoc reporting requests.
  • Generates regular reports from analytics tools and uses Excel as needed to customize them.
  • Creates custom automated or on-demand dashboards within analytics tools.
  • Develops reporting templates and systems based on the key performance indicators and defined ROI of individual projects.
  • Understands, documents, and trains internal users on existing and new analytics measures available, their construction and appropriate usage.

What you'll need to bring

  • Post-secondary education, preferably with an accounting background
  • Working towards a professional accounting designation, CPA PEP level or equivalent
  • Experience in project accounting is strongly preferred.
  • Strong track record of managing financial performance in a project-based environment.
  • 2 years of relevant work experience in full-cycle accounting.
  • Experience working with an ERP system
  • Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple projects/deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good understanding of Canadian accounting standards
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, custom charts, filters, dashboards, macros, etc.).
  • Project accounting knowledge with a strong understanding of the financial and project cost accounting practices and procedures necessary to effectively control project financial outcomes.
  • Ability to understand and communicate accurate budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Ability to monitor financial performance and identify red flags.
  • Intermediate computer and digital literacy skills (Microsoft Windows / Apple OSX, Microsoft Office, Internet/Web, Social Media)
