What we're looking for

Data strategy consulting based on considerable technical, functional and product expertise regarding data and ad-tech platforms. Striving to deliver effective data and marketing ad-tech consulting practice and solutions to client.

What you'll do

Consulting and Strategy:

  • Perform accurate analysis and effective diagnosis of client’s ‘current state’ and create gap analyses for future solution design
  • Integrate and work as part of a Consulting team with other strategists to ensure cohesion between data and ad-tech solutions and marketing/media strategies.
  • Create future state ecosystem and data flow maps to support marketing/media goals
  • Define technical strategy, developing technical requirements and implementation with support from Technical Project Managers.
  • Create data and tagging strategies
  • Build consultative roadmaps, aligned with technical roadmaps for clients.
  • Act as the technical strategist and advisory for the Strategy & Integration and Media teams.
  • Build and present solution overviews and high-level plans
  • Use senior knowledge of media landscape and media platforms to provide expertise to clients and internal strategists as they build media plans and communications strategies.
  • Create presentation decks and present to clients; strategies, proposals and demonstrations
  • Lead and participate in client workshops (data, discovery, strategy)

Data & Ad-Tech

  • Perform data and technical audits to create client marketing ecosystem maps
  • Act as the agency specialist in ad-tech platforms, with a deep understanding of the ad-tech landscape and vendor capabilities in order to recommend the most effective platforms for clients.
  • Conduct and participate in vendor reviews and negotiations on behalf of clients
  • Serve as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet client’s business needs
  • Utilize analytics, and ad-tech technology to proactively identify gaps between in client infrastructure to support marketing and media objectives
  • Troubleshoot problems and contact other technical groups/vendors for consultation when required
  • Consult and brief internal implementation teams on approved data and tagging strategies.
  • Remain integrated throughout implementation to ensure accuracy of implementation.

Analytics

  • Build and consult with clients on their Analytics Frameworks
  • Build and consult with internal teams on building Success Measurement Frameworks and ensure integration with ecosystem tagging and measurement strategies.
  • Work with client and agency BI & Strategy teams to co-develop marketing hypotheses and build models for testing.
  • Act as the agency specialist for Analytics software and technology e.g. Tableau
  • Act as the Strategy team’s point person and liaison for the agency’s CAMP product to ensure client effectiveness.

Team & Education

  • Develop and implement processes, procedures and best practices
  • Educate Strategy and Media teams on ad-tech solutions and implementation best practices
  • Lead agency and recruitment education programs to raise the skill-level and understanding of ad-tech and data consulting.

What you'll need to bring

  • A bachelors or advanced degree in Statistics, Economics, Business, Math, or Advertising is preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with at least several of the following tools:
    Data visualization: Tableau, Omniscope, PowerBI, Web Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Good Analytics, Webtrends.
    Ad Servers:  DoubleClick, Sizmek, Atlas, MOAT, DoubleVerify.
    Syndicated Measurement: comScore, Nielsen.
    Ad Effectiveness Research:  comeScore, Millward Brown Digital, GFK, Nielsen Marketing Cloud
    Marketing Automation: SFDC Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget), Eloqua, Responsys, Marketo
    DMPs: Blue Kai, Adobe Audience Manager, Lotame, Rocket Fuel, Trade Desk etc.
    DSPs: Adobe Media Optimizer, DoubleClick, Media Math
    Digital Analytics tools: Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Tag Management Solutions (Ensighten, Tealium, GTM), A/B & MVT Solutions (Target, Optimizely, Sitespect)
    Data Manipulation tools: VBA/Excel Macros, SQL, SAS, SPSS, S-Plus, R, etc.
  • Experience with Digital Analytics and Ad-Tech solutions
  • Experience in one or more of the following:  digital analytics and optimization, statistical modeling, consumer insights, marketing analytics
  • Knowledge of analytical methodologies for optimizing and evaluating customer campaigns (i.e., segmentation, predictive response models, etc.) as well as a strong knowledge of online marketing and/or CRM best practices
  • Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, RUP, other)
  • Ability to foster collaborative relationships with other cross-functional teams
  • A strong desire to learn and passion for digital marketing, research and analytics
  • Strong ability to navigate ambiguity and manage competing priorities.
