What we're looking for

Noise Digital is a leader in data-driven & personalized performance marketing with offices in Vancouver, Toronto, and Los Angeles. We are looking for a SeniorConsumer Strategist to advise clients on topics like audience insights, brand, communication, content, experience design, and measurement. This role will be working out of our Toronto office.

What you'll do

  • Uncovering, reviewing, and synthesizing consumer research that unlocks opportunities &solutions for our client partners
  • Visualizing consumer profiles, portraits, and journeys that inspire the work
  • Adding a VIP layer of humanity, culture, and empathy to the boardroom
  • Crafting segmented and personalized messaging strategies that build strong brands and influences short-term performance
  • Classic strategic brand planning work that sets the foundation (portfolio strategy, product strategy, brand strategy, comms strategy)
  • Creating systems of measurement to assess marketing success
  • Co-creating360 degree annual plans & campaign plan
  • Collaborating with a diverse team of in-house and external specialists (media planners, data analysts, creative & content specialists, journalists and influencers, marketing managers)
  • Contributing compelling insights, recommendations to pitches
  • Presenting persuasive and well-designed materials to senior executives with charisma and confidence

What you'll need to bring

  • 5+ years of strategic planning experience within an agency environment
  • Experience developing various types of messaging strategies for clients
  • Experience working with research vendors and teasing out insights
  • Experience guiding writers, influencers, designers, and media planners
  • Experience developing balanced KPI scorecards/marketing measures
  • An unquenchable passion for learning about culture change, human motivation, consumer-brand relationships, brand meanings, brand consumption, and shopping(from a variety of disciplinary lenses)
  • A solid understanding of various types of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies (including experimental design & testing)
  • Familiarity with experience design thinking and user journey mapping
  • Interest in doing the work and teaching our clients how to do the work  
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with rapid and shifting timelines
  • Passion for delivering breakthrough work that makes an impact
